Scatterbrain

Hey all,

So I think I might be fighting off some sort of minor cold. I’m not sick feeling per say, but I’ve been dead tired and completely scatterbrain since yesterday. I nearly killed myself doing not all that heavy lifting at the gym last night. Light headedness in the middle of squatting is an interesting experience.  Needless to say, I slept a lot of today and didn’t get all that much done—but I can talk about what I did do.

For the most part, I’ve been working with Dreamstate II. Yesterday was a bit more productive with getting plot issues worked through. I was working on those bits of plot that needed smoothing out (the stuff I talked about a bit on Tuesday). Today I tried to get back into that, but for the life of my I couldn’t keep anything straight in my head. I had to reread sections about ten times before anything would stick, and I just couldn’t keep track of what I was doing for more than a few minutes at a time. I’d end up reading something unrelated, and then get distracted by my own story… and fifteen minutes later I’d remember what I was supposed to be doing in the first place. I got a lot of pretty useless things done, but not that much else. I ended up relegating myself to fixing grammatical errors and odd little typos and whatnot that I have notes on (issues other people have caught). Hopefully my brain will be back in time for me to get into things again for tomorrow. I don’t like whatever is happening to me.
